DOOSAN International Exhibition has the aim of introducing Korean contemporary art and artists on the international stage and supporting artists in their growth and the expansion of their activities. Between 2009 and 2021, DOOSAN Gallery New York operated in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, establishing a link with the international art world as its exhibitions shared the work of different artists with local audiences.

This approach underwent a transformation in 2023, with a new focus on exploring curatorial collaborations with preeminent overseas nonprofit institutions. This has led to the introduction of new layers to exhibitions and the creation of contemporary discourses in various contexts. Furthermore, this ongoing interaction with other cultures and institutions serves as a basis for playing a role in strengthening the connection between Korean contemporary art and the international art scene, as well as building international networks.
