DOOSAN ART LAB Open call

DOOSAN ART LAB Visual Arts embarks on a new format.

Launched in 2015, DOOSAN ART LAB Visual Arts has discovered and supported promising emerging artists in the field of visual arts, providing a foundation for their artistic development. To date, the 49 artists who have participated in DOOSAN ART LAB Visual Arts have established their own distinctive artistic practices and continue to actively contribute to the contemporary art scene.

The newly restructured DOOSAN ART LAB Visual Arts will now be held biennially. In an increasingly competitive art world and the accelerating creative environment, the program aims to provide artists developing their own visual languages with the time and space to reflect, experiment, and further develop their practices.

We hope that DOOSAN ART LAB Visual Arts will serve as a stepping stone for artists to expand their possibilities at their own pace.

Eligibility
- aged 35 or under (born in 1991 or later)
  For teams, all members must be 35 or under
- Korean nationals
- Artists who have held at least one solo exhibition
* The next open call will take place in 2028 and will be open to artists born in 1993 or later.
